The Assessor is elected by the people of Sacramento County and is responsible for locating taxable property in the County, assessing the value, identifying the owner, and publishing annual and supplemental assessment rolls.

Christina Wynn, Sacramento County Assessor
Christina Wynn was re-elected as Sacramento County Assessor in June 2026. With more than 36 years of experience in property appraisal and assessment administration in both the public and private sectors, including more than 26 years with the Sacramento County Assessor’s Office, she brings extensive knowledge, proven leadership, and a strong commitment to public service.
As Assessor, Christina is dedicated to ensuring fair, accurate, and timely property assessments while providing Sacramento County property owners with the information and assistance they need. She believes transparency, accountability, and responsive customer service are essential to maintaining public trust.
Christina is committed to fostering a knowledgeable, professional, and service-oriented workforce while embracing technology and innovative practices to improve efficiency and better serve the community.
Christina holds an Advanced Appraiser Certification from the California State Board of Equalization and is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers and the Appraisal Institute. She is a Past President of both the California Assessors’ Association and the Bay Area Assessors’ Association and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
