The Assessor is elected by the people of Sacramento County and is responsible for locating taxable property in the County, assessing the value, identifying the owner, and publishing annual and supplemental assessment rolls.

Christina Wynn, Sacramento County Assessor

Christina Wynn was re-elected as Sacramento County Assessor in June 2022 and has dedicated more than 25 years of service to the Sacramento County Assessor’s Office. With over 35 years of experience in appraisal and property tax administration in both the public and private sectors, she brings deep expertise and a strong commitment to fairness, accuracy, and responsive public service.

She is certified by the California State Board of Equalization as an Advanced Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes and is an active member of the Appraisal Institute and the International Association of Assessing Officers. Christina has also held key statewide leadership roles, serving as Past President of both the California Assessors’ Association and the Bay Area Assessors’ Association.

A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Christina earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics.
